The main objective of Gremi d’Àrids it is the representation, defense and promotion of the economical, social and professional interests of its members. The association keeps a close contact with the different administrations (local, regional, national and European) with the public sector institutions (universities, professional associations, chambers of commerce) and private institutions (associations and companies).
The association wants to demonstrate the key role played by the Catalan aggregates industry in meeting Catalan society’s needs and contributing to the common welfare.
Gremi d’Àrids has a proactive attitude towards the new legislation (local, regional, national and European). We identify the legislation that affects the aggregates sector, and we collaborate with the Administration during the process. The Gremi informs its members about the new legal aspects that could affect them in any way. Our main request is the administrative simplification.
Internal mission
Gremi d’Àrids tries to provide its member with a quality service. To do so, we organize formative courses, sign different agreements to offer the best benefits to the associates and we arrange the participation in trade fairs and congress. The Gremi also offers legal assistance, consultancy services and mediation, among many others.
The association intends to be an active agent in the qualitative improvement of the aggregates sector. We encourage sustainability policies, good environmental practices, the implementation of the best available techniques and the innovation and internationalization of the Catalan aggregates sector.
The Gremi promotes health and safety policies in the work environment. The association maintains a close collaboration with the social agents represented on the sector, and participates in the collective bargaining process.
